I needed some time after I watched to get back to mind. My favorite movie of this director, and that’s saying something! This movie online seriously is incredible. Not to mention that it has the best music in a movie. No movie ever has filled me with so much strange energy and gotten me so immersed in it. I was so impressed of Scary Movie 2 that I ended up watching it eleven times in cinema and few times watch online. How can the guy who gave us Kentucky Fried Movie with his brother and Airplane be the same guy who made Scary Movie 5. Actually it is the worst movie of any kind I have ever seen. Before this movie, the worst parody movie I have seen was Disaster Movie, now Scary Movie 5 is the worst parody movie I have ever partially seen.
I think I actually watched about 60 minutes of the movie before passing out. I woke up on my livingroom floor about 6 hours later and my TV's screen saver was running. I fixed my favorite popcorn and turned out the lights and started watching Scary Movie 5 on my big screen TV. I saw the reviews Scary Movie 5 but decided to order it anyway. Maybe there might be another one someday in the future, but if it really is the end, I just wished that it ended on a higher note. Since this underperformed and spoof movies aren't as popular as they once were, I'm afraid this might be the end of the Scary Movie series. Like I said it's kind of hard to review a movie like this, so overall it was ok. Ashley Tisdale of the High School Musical movies was pretty entertaining in this, but I still miss Anna. However some of them are lame and those ones tend to overstay their welcome. The gags are hit and miss, but I'll admit that when they hit they hit very well. Basically it parodies various movies that were popular at the time it was made, more specifically Paranormal Activity, Mama, Black Swan, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It's kind of hard to properly review this movie since these films barely have a cohesive story are filled to the brim with random pop culture references. So does it good up to the previous movies? To be honest I wasn't really that interested in the fifth movie when it came out, especially since Anna Faris and the other previous cast members aside from Charlie Sheen weren't going to be in it. The first three Scary Movies were hilarious while the fourth one was meh.
Hell I even like most of the Seltzerberg (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) movies, except for Disaster Movie. Let me tell you something, and it's going to be very controversial, I love the Scary Movie movies.
